Why the founder decided to start Story Reflection?
What you would like to be, when you grow up?
When I (the founder) was 4 years old, I answered my teacher, I want to become an entrepreneur. But the journey to become an entrepreneur takes a long time, and I did not become an innovative founder overnight.
On my journey to become an entrepreneur, I realised that there are pressure to conform to established norms and practices, even if it causes pain for so many people and discourage innovation or creativity.
I also encounter many people who pressured me to fit in to the society, but I don't want to fit in, because it doesn't feels right for me. I want to explore a better way to do things, and discover a new path people have never considered before!
Innovation feels like freedom for me...
It allows me to be who I am, my authentic self, to work on things I love, and to accomplish my purpose in this life. I never want to become anyone other than myself. That's why I value authenticity, creativity, growth, respect, and wisdom.
I understand that many innovators encounter challenges when it comes to introducing their new ideas, because many people are not familiar or not used with the new ideas, even if the new solution may provide a better outcome or better way to do things.
Ever since long time ago, many people resist new ideas or concepts due to lack of understanding or inability to adapt to change. It's never been easy to introduce innovative solutions ever since long time ago, but most innovators still do it anyway! They don't give up, not because it's easy, but because it's worth it, and I feel the same!
I am excited to meet people who feels the same, people who believe in the impossible, even if they have never seen them before!
I understand that being an innovator sometimes may makes us feel different, alone, or misunderstood. Well, if you are not meant to fit in, then most likely you'll feel strange trying to fit in anyway...
